2023 Big Bend Expedition

The Big Bend Expedition follows a 60 to 90-mile route rated as an IMBA Epic. The ride begins and ends at the Barton Warnock Visitors Center at the Big Bend Ranch State Park near Lajitas, Texas, and the Mexico border. This challenging ride traverses some extremely isolated, rugged, and beautiful desert terrain. This is a self-supported ride. 

Some of the group will be camping the night before the ride at Alpine or Marfa. This is optional although it makes the Saturday drive a bit shorter before starting the ride. The pre-ride campout is also a great way to hang out with new people and build some new relationships prior to the event.
